Maternity Sessions, Let’s talk about them!

“You’re glowing” sure, you are told this all of the time…but how often are you feeling like it?

I’m here to change that.

Maternity is one of my favorite things to shoot. I just cannot get over how beautiful you are when you are pregnant. Your changing body is amazing. While you may feel like it’s such a difficult thing to go through. It is simply magical.

When you walk out of my studio, you will feel that glow.

I offer 2 packages for in-studio, 2 packages for outside, and 1 package that includes both studio + outside. All of our sessions include access to our client closet. You will be able to pick from our collection of gowns (we have over 70!) bodysuits, crop tops, fabric, and more. We do provide fresh florals, however, this must be requested 72 hours before your session. I do recommend an appointment prior to your session to come to try on outfits. Our studio has two shooting areas. Our brick lifestyle room and our studio room. Our mini session gives you the option for the brick room or the studio room and 2 looks (a look is an outfit, IE a gown and crop top, florals and cape) while our full gives you the option for both rooms and 4-6 looks. We have over a dozen different backdrop options in our studio room. These must be chosen prior to your studio. I have such a huge selection that it doesn’t all fit in the studio!

Our sunset sessions take place 75 minutes before sunset. Our mini is 2 outfits and our full is 4. We have locations we shoot at and know will produce the best results, because of this we do not offer sessions at other locations. When we shoot outside we do have a changing tent, though its usually easiest to slip the dress on and off!

When coming to your session, we recommend wearing skin-tone underwear and bringing a strapless bra. If shooting outside I recommend coming in a dress for easy changing. If you’ll be in the studio doing nude, please do NOT wear anything under a dress to avoid lines on your skin from your clothes.

After your session, the amount of skin editing is up to you. I will not change the shape of your body, but I will remove stretch marks and cellulite as well as acne. I generally suggest shooting your maternity session when you are 30-33 weeks. If you are having multiples I suggest 23-26 weeks. Once you hit your second trimester, that is the perfect time to book. I only accept 5 stand-alone maternity sessions. Meaning you are booking a maternity session with me and do not have your newborn also scheduled with me. If I am also shooting your newborn, I absolutely would love to and can shoot your maternity.

Please reach out if you have more questions! We cannot wait to document that glow.
