The Newborn Experience
Whether we are focusing solely on your new bundle of joy or creating a family masterpiece, your newborn session will be something you can cherish forever. My Mesa, Arizona photography studio provides a safe, comfortable environment to create lasting memories with your family. My goal is to grow with your family. From Christmas mini sessions, Fall family photos, cake smash sessions, and one day, a senior session when they're graduating high school. And when we are there, watching them graduate from High School, you'll be able to look back on these photos and remember just how tiny they were once upon a time.

When you are ready to talk about your newborn session, simply submit a contact form. Once we determine that we have availability for your due date (or baby if they're already born) you will finalize a contract, pay your booking fee, and lock in your session.
1. Say Hello
If your baby is already born, we will schedule your session right away. However, if you're pre-booking (which is always highly encouraged when possible) you will receive a link to book your actual session date to utilize when baby is born. We will not schedule any date until baby is already born to ensure that date works perfectly.
2. Schedule it
The planning process starts as soon as you book your session. We will discuss colors, props, poses, etc. Each session is tailored to you and your family. With that being said, all sessions are led by babies comfort level. I will only pose baby in a safe and comfortable manner. Not every baby loves every pose. My studio provides an array of props and outfits to ensure that however baby is most comfortable, we have that item available.
3. Planning it
The day of your session you'll arrive to my Mesa, Arizona newborn studio and we will create magic. During this session you can relax, enjoy snacks, and we will pose your perfect, newest addition. Sessions are done Monday - Friday at 9 or 10am.
4. Your Session
Immediately following your session, you can enjoy a coffee or treat on me while I prepare your newborn session images. We will view them together, in studio, to select your favorite images for a final edit. During this time you can purchase additional digital images or purchase any additional print products.

Sessions include a welcome & prep guide to help prepare you for your newborn session experience, a photography session at my Mesa, Arizona studio, a private online viewing gallery with all of your final edited images, and a design and ordering consultation, online or in person. Newborn sessions include full access to our prop collection as well as client closet. Newborn sessions are designed to provide you with a carefully curated selection of digital images, ensuring quality and attention to detail in every image. Additional digital images, prints, albums, wall art, and more are available.

Maternity session
I cannot recommend Shanyn enough! Need a feel good shoot? Boudoir? Family? Maternity? Cake smash? She’s done it all for my family and every time I come out shocked at the result. Our last family session was about 20 minutes because my kids wouldn’t stop crying, it was chaos, no one was participating and I even cried because I was so frustrated. But then Shanyn delivered a full album of photos that I couldn’t even believe how she was able to make us look that put together. She is our forever photographer!
Family Session
Shanyn has been documenting our family’s milestones (Maternity, Newborn, family, minis) for the last two years and we are so grateful we found her! She is very easy to work with and the final images are always stunning and timeless. She helps you pose and provides guidance to make you look good which is so important. She is the best with little ones - our toddler loves her and always warms up to her quickly. Our sessions are always fun and she captures such a wide variety of photos, even during minis. For newborn sessions all you have to do is bring the baby to the studio and she takes it from there which is wonderful when you just had a baby and are exhausted. Shanyn also has a client closet full of unique dresses that photograph really well and you can try them on in the studio before your session. We can’t wait for our next session!
