Newborn Photography Ideas for Phoenix moms
Newborn photography ideas can be hard to come by if you are a mom who loves colorful, bright newborn sessions. I love a good neutral newborn session just as much as the next mama. However, color is my love language. If you ever came to my house you’d see pink curtains, a gold velvet couch, and a rug filled with jungle birds. So it is no surprise that I love associating those colors in my Phoenix newborn studio.
Finding the best colors for your newborn session
No, not every baby can be wrapped in every color. You want to ensure that your baby is wrapped and dressed in colors that complement their skin tone. Yellow was a color I really had wanted for my own baby, Story, however she had jaundice (and is a ginger!) so yellow was NOT her color. Sweet Amaya had the most perfect newborn skin tone ever and truly could’ve rocked anything.
Sometimes I have a parent come in who have their heart set on a specific color. Because I want to make sure every client leaves with exactly what they want, I carry a variety of tones in every color. Having creative newborn photography ideas is only as good as knowing the best client to use them with. Do not be afraid to use bold colors with a variety of textures.
