Color is a friend of mine. You’ll never catch me scared to use vibrant colors for your Phoenix newborn session. Don’t get me wrong – I love a beautiful neutral color palette. But if neutral isn’t your vibe – that is okay t00. I have a photography studio in Phoenix, Arizona stocked full of every color for your newborn pictures. Mama wanted unique colors for her baby girls newborn photos. Blues, purples, oranges. As much as I love pink – it’s so refreshing to use something different for a baby girls Phoenix newborn session. This blue outfit was perfect for her newborn session.

When I am planning your Phoenix newborn session, I always do my best to make sure you have unique and fun poses. While I love consistency, I want to make sure your session doesn’t quite look the exact same as someone else’s (unless that is what you want, then I am happy to replicate it) I love creating a beautiful mix of colors to keep your newborn pictures unique to your family.

Light Blue Flokati from Luneberry
Each newborn session includes access to my entire prop collection – and boy will you love what we have.
I prepare each set up with one base color. My goal is to create a monochromatic set. This means everything is going to be the same color. I’ll choose a base layer in one color then add onto that. Typically my headbands, hats, pillows, bears, etc will all be the exact same tone for that set up. However, for the session itself I’ll use multiple shades of colors. As you can see above and below the sets are both based around one color. Above we have two shades of blue and below we have two shades of purple. This is my signature look for your Phoenix newborn session and I have perfected this over the last 15 years.

By doing this I create a gorgeous gallery with complementary tones. I always keep in mind how the images will look in an album or hung on the wall together. Layering unique textures helps to create a high-end look for your newborn pictures.
If you’re pregnant and at least 12 weeks- now is the best time to book your Phoenix newborn session. If your baby is already born – reach out as soon as possible to see if we have availability for your newborn session.
