Tips for Your Phoenix Branding Photoshoot
In the last 15 years, I have learned a lot being a Phoenix branding photographer. From what to wear, what to bring, and how to show up. Here are my top tips for your branding photoshoot.
- The most important tip. Be yourself. Authentically. Genuinely. Do not show up the way others want you to or expect you to.
- Bring what’s important to you and your business. As a business, you want these photos to truly represent what you have to offer. Bring products, work items, etc. As a veteran Phoenix Branding Photographer, I’ll always tell you to bring more than you think you need!
- Bring a variety of outfits. My goal is often to have something fun, something professional, something relaxed, etc. If you wear a uniform, bring that! During a branding session we will do multiple backgrounds and outfits. This provides valuable content for your social media.
- Bring your favorite playlist of music. Let’s spend the time together jamming to your favorite songs!
- Bring touch ups for your makeup. Lipstick, gloss, blush, powder, etc.
Best outfits for branding photos
Being a Phoenix branding photographer means I see a lot of outfits. Good, bad, ugly, GREAT! Some photographers may just leave it up to you; but thats not how we roll. Of course, if you already have your faves locked in that works. If you are on the fence, I got you.
For an hour session I recommend 4 outfits. I recommend something bold/colorful, something dressier, something flowy, and something YOU! This is all just a suggestion and I am happy to help you narrow it down. And if outfit selection isn’t your thing – I have an amazing app that will help you piece together amazing items. That is included in your session fee!
