Sweet Beginnings: Scottsdale’s Newborn Photography Experience

I’ve had a lot of moms reach out after baby has already been born lately. A lot of first time moms seem to be on the fence about a newborn session. However, if you’re even kind of on the fence about newborn photography in Scottsdale; here is your sign to book your session! I don’t always have availability to get a baby who wasn’t pre-booked on my calendar (if you want to know how to pre-book your newborn session, send me a message!) Because of this it’s always recommended to pre-book your newborn session in your second trimester.

Thankfully I was able to get this baby boy in the very next day. There are some challenges when it comes to a last minute newborn booking. However this little boy came ready to rock and roll.

The Art of Newborn Photography in Scottsdale

One of the challenges that comes with a last minute newborn booking is designing your scottsdale newborn photography session. Often when mothers book their babies first portraits, we have months to plan. This time we had less than 24 hours. Nevertheless this session went off without a hitch. Even if this sweet boy spent some (ok a lot) of time awake.

Together we will create newborn set ups that match the style of your home, style of your nursery, and well really just any colors that you love. This family came into the studio and said “we trust you, do what you want!” Which is truly my favorite thing to hear. Often times parents have very specific things in mind (which is totally fine) but I truly love creating sets. So this brought me so much joy.

When I opened my newborn photography studio for Scottsdale parents I knew exactly what I wanted my pictures to look like. Monochromatic set ups are my vibe. I love bold colors and set ups that evoke emotion.

Cherishing your baby’s first few days

As a mother of 5 I know how much of a blur the first few weeks of parenthood can be. You’re tired, you’re hungry, and you don’t know the last time you showered. So it’s no surprise that planning newborn pictures would be the last thing on your mind. Whether you want to help plan every detail or you want to leave it to me. My goal is always for it to be a fun, seamless, and exciting experience from start to finish.
